Custom Greeting Card Design for Property Welcome
The aim of this project was to design a warm and inviting greeting card that the staff could use to welcome new guests upon their arrival at the property. The card needed to capture the essence of the property's hospitality and create a memorable first impression that would enhance guests' experiences from the moment they arrived.

Design Process
- Photo Selection and Editing: A key element of the card was the front image, which depicted the property's entrance set against a bright and inviting background. This image was chosen to immediately convey the welcoming and serene atmosphere of the property. Using Adobe Photoshop, I performed detailed edits to enhance the photo's colors, contrast, and brightness to ensure that it was both eye-catching and representative of the property’s aesthetic.
- Card Layout and Design: The layout of the greeting card was meticulously designed using Adobe InDesign. The front featured the edited image, while the back of the card included essential contact information for the property, styled elegantly to be easily accessible yet unobtrusive. Inside, the card contained a pre-printed welcome message that captured the warmth of the staff, alongside space for handwritten notes, allowing for a personal touch from the staff to each guest.
- Typography and Aesthetics: The choice of typography and design elements inside the card was carefully considered to align with the property's branding and to enhance the readability of the printed message. The interior design balanced white space with text, creating a clean and welcoming appearance.
The greeting card project was a resounding success, with the final product warmly received by both the staff and guests. The carefully edited front image made a striking first impression, while the personalizable interior of the card added a unique and heartfelt touch to the welcoming experience. The card effectively communicated the property’s dedication to exceptional service and attention to detail, enhancing the overall guest experience from the moment of arrival.
This project highlights my ability to blend photographic artistry with practical design skills, creating customized greeting cards that serve not just as a tool for communication but also as an extension of the property’s brand and hospitality ethos.
