The video highlights how a Traveler Information Message (TIM), activated by a smart traffic sign, enables an autonomous vehicle to comprehend detour road geometry and accurately localize itself, even in the absence of GPS signals.

A key feature of the video is the AI-generated path, visually rendered in After Effects. This demonstrates the exact route an autonomous vehicle would take upon receiving instructions from the smart sign.
