Events Website Creation & Migration
The primary goal of this project was to enhance the organizational structure and focus of a major website by segregating its weddings and events content. This entailed migrating these sections to a newly established subdomain, dedicated solely to events and wedding-related information.

Technical Execution
- Subdomain Creation: Initiated the project by creating a new subdomain to house all events-related content. This strategic move aimed to provide a dedicated platform for event services, improving user navigation and experience.
- DNS and Email Setup: Configured DNS settings to ensure that the new subdomain was properly connected and functioning. Additionally, set up dedicated email servers for the subdomain to streamline communication and enhance professionalism in client interactions.
- WordPress Development: The new website was developed using WordPress, chosen for its flexibility and user-friendly interface. This platform facilitated a smooth setup and allowed for easy content management post-launch.
Design Innovations
- Style Guide Development: Developed a comprehensive new style guide for the website, introducing fresh fonts and color schemes that aligned with the modern, elegant aesthetic appropriate for weddings and events.
- Logo Redesign: To complement the website's revamped style, a new version of the logo was created. This redesign maintained brand continuity while introducing elements that resonated with the events theme.
Deliverables
The portfolio piece includes a PDF of the first draft of the home page, showcasing the initial layout and design concept. This draft reflects the integration of new design elements and serves as a preliminary visual representation of the website's direction.The project successfully resulted in a separate, highly focused subdomain that enhanced the brand's online presence in the events market. The new design elements and structural improvements have significantly boosted user engagement and streamlined the content delivery process.
